Job Details

Purpose The student assistant will answer telephones and schedule advising appointments. Greet students, faculty, staff and UT guests. Sign in students for advising appointments. Complete other administrative tasks, as assigned. Run on-campus errands. This person will help foster a culture of exceptional customer service, timely and accurate support, and teamwork.

Required Qualifications


  • Must have a work-study verification form.

  • This is a front desk position, so candidates must have good interpersonal skills, be timely and dependable and be able to maintain confidentiality.

  • Experience with word, excel and powerpoint.

  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Prior customer service experience
