The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Student Associate for Advising Pod 5 at UT Main Campus. This role supports the Undergraduate Advising Office, handling phones, scheduling, data entry, and website assistance, while connecting students to campus resources.
The ideal candidate is a current UT Austin student with customer service experience, strong integrity, and the ability to take initiative. 19 hours weekly, $12 per hour, with training provided.

Location: UT MAIN CAMPUS
Purpose: Student Associates act as the administrative front line for a Student Affairs Undergraduate Advising Office. They perform everyday administrative tasks such as answering phones, creating appointments for students, data entry, and website assistance. They do not advise students on which classes to take, but they do connect students with the appropriate resources. The ideal candidate will also have a background in customer service, a strong sense of integrity and confidentiality, and must be able to demonstrate the ability to take initiative. Perform other office tasks as needed. Hiring for 2026 Fall Term and expected to continue for the Spring Term. All training necessary will be provided.
Applicants will be expected to work during business hours Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. If applying as a work study candidate, then must be awarded Federal Work-Study on the Work-Study Verification (WSV)
$12hr 19 hours per week.
