Job summary

Sul Ross State University in Alpine is seeking a hardworking Tech Support Student Worker to assist in computer labs, classrooms, and offices. You will help with ID Card support, updates, upgrades, networking, and software or hardware installations, and provide remote support from LTAC call center.

The role requires reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and hours 7:30 am–10:30 pm, with a professional, team‑oriented attitude and a willingness to learn.

Primary Responsibilities

We are looking for a hardworking and motivated individual to fill a Tech Support Student Worker opening.
The successful candidates will have individual duties assigned by their supervisor. In some cases, focus will be providing support within computer labs, classrooms, and offices. Assist in ID Card support, updates, upgrades, network, media cable runs and software or hardware installations. Provide remote support from LTAC call center. Demonstrate an eagerness to help and learn new programs; maintain a professional disposition, be approachable, respectful and team oriented.
