Job summary

Primary Responsibilities

Responsibilities: Setting up conference center and meeting rooms for events. Assisting with events all over campus.

  • Setting up tables and chairs in the Morgan University Center, First Floor Foyer;
  • Setting up computers, projectors, sound, lighting, speakers and etc.;
  • Supervising the Game Room, have guests sign-in/out, have guests sign-in/out game room equipment;
  • Setting up, helping, executing and striking Sully Productions events;
  • Helping with Presidential and important annual events such as Commencements, Hall of Honor, New Student Orientations, Sully Showcase and Convocation

Security Sensitive: This position is classified as Security-Sensitive and is thereby subject to the provisions of Texas Education Code §51.215 and Texas Government Code §411.094, which authorize employers to obtain and review criminal history record information for applicants.

Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security & Fire Safety Report

The report also contains fire statistics for any fires occurring in an On-Campus Student Housing Facility during the three most recent calendar years.
