Job summary

Columbus House Dining Services is seeking a College Student to join our team as a Dining Services Assistant under Federal Work-Study. This role assists with meal service, kitchen tasks, and guest interactions in a campus dining environment.

The position is part-time, up to 6 hours per week, scheduled between 12pm and 6pm, Monday through Friday. You will help with inventory, meal preparation, and supervising volunteers while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred but not required.
• Interest in social work, nutrition, or health topics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a main point of contact for clients.
• Respond to inquiries about meals, menus, and dietary needs.
• Assist with meal design, preparation and serving.
• Help manage volunteers and inventory.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as needed.
