Job summary

FirstEnergy seeks a Supervisor, Work Management to lead planning, scheduling, and continuous improvement across its Utility Operations Engineering Services. This onsite role requires collaboration with Engineering Services and Operations Leadership to achieve safe, reliable operations.

The supervisor will guide scheduling strategies, manage resources, and drive performance-based metrics while ensuring adherence to policies and budgets. Location options include State College, PA or Altoona, PA.

Qualifications

• Candidates should meet minimum education requirements with extensive related work experience.
• Experience in project management and leading teams is essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication and prioritization skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and scheduling to ensure standardized work management processes.
• Supervise planner/schedulers, readiness coordinators, and administrative staff.
• Drive continuous improvement and resource optimization across operations centers.
• Coordinate with Engineering Services and Operations Leadership to ensure safe, reliable operations.
• Provide oversight of pre-job planning, scheduling adherence, and status updates.
• Support storm processes and escalation procedures as needed.
