FirstEnergy Corp. seeks a Supervisor, Work Management to lead the Work Management group within the Utility Operations Engineering Services.

This role partners with leaders to set goals, plans, forecasts, and budgets while guiding resource management and process improvements to improve productivity and efficiency across the work management system. You will oversee scheduling, planning, and coordination for both short-range and long-range operations, working with Engineering Services and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering technology or related discipline and 5 years of related work experience.
• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related discipline and 7 years of related work experience are required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years related work experience are required.
• Demonstrated project management experience as both a team leader and team member.
• Able to lead initiatives and change implementation.
• Self-motivated and able to manage competing priorities, provide quality customer service, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead work management planner/schedulers for forecasting, short-term planning, and scheduling.
• Supervise daily activities of planner/schedulers, readiness coordinators, and administrative staff.
• Oversee prioritization of field operations projects and workload.
• Develop two-week and one-month plans for operations centres.
• Lead long-range planning to optimize resource use and high-priority work.
• Coordinate with Engineering Services and Operations Leadership to ensure safe, reliable operations.
• Ensure scheduling process adherence and pre-job inspections.
• Lead scheduling strategies and continuous improvement using Work Management MDT systems.
• Coordinate work requests with customers, contractors, and internal teams and provide status updates.
