Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering technology or related discipline with 5+ years of related experience
• Associate degree in engineering technology with 7+ years of related experience
• High School Diploma with 8+ years of related experience
• Demonstrated project management experience as both a team leader and team member

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and promote a strong safety commitment and Leading with Safety principles
• Lead work management planners/schedulers for forecasting, short-term planning and scheduling
• Supervise daily activities of planners, readiness coordinators, and administrative staff
• Prioritize field operations projects and workload for assigned centers
• Oversee a two-week plan and a one-month projection to guide daily work and contingency strategy
• Guide long-range planning to optimize resources and complete high-priority work
• Coordinate with Engineering Services and Operations Leadership to ensure safe, reliable operations
• Ensure adherence to planning, pre-job inspections, and scheduling processes
• Develop and implement scheduling strategies for assigned centers
• Drive continuous improvement using Work Management MDT systems
• Coordinate work requests with customers, contractors, internal entities and after-hours contacts
• Manage UG locate calls, switching requests, traffic control, and outage requests in OMS
• Coordinate materials/equipment/permits to establish work dates and expedite delivery
• Support the FirstEnergy storm process
