FirstEnergy Corp. in Latrobe, PA is seeking a Supervisor, Work Management to lead the Work Management group within Utility Operations Engineering Services.

You will oversee planning, scheduling, and process improvements to maximize productivity and efficiency across West Penn Power operations. You will partner with Engineering and Operations leaders to ensure safe, reliable operations, manage resources, and provide daily work plans and contingency strategies for the assigned centers in the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering technology or related discipline with 5 years of related work experience.
• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related discipline with 7 years of related work experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with 8 years related work experience.
• Demonstrated project management experience as both a team leader and team member.
• Able to lead initiatives and change implementation.
• Self-motivated and able to manage competing priorities, provide quality customer service, and communicate effectively.
• Possess leadership qualities to guide others, coach decision-making and facilitate meetings.
• Strong analytical skills with focus on performance-based metrics.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Extensive knowledge of the WMI application base (GIS, CREWS, SAP) preferred.
• Awareness of National Electric Safety Code (NESC) and National Electric Code (NEC).
• Working knowledge of equipment and systems (substation, overhead/underground lines) and related construction/maintenance methods.

Responsibilities

• Leading a Work Management group to plan and schedule operational processes.
• Supervising planners/schedulers, readiness coordinators, and administrative support.
• Prioritizing field operations projects and workload for assigned centers.
• Maintaining a two-week and one-month projection of activities for daily planning.
• Overseeing long-range planning to optimize resource use and prioritize work.
• Engaging Engineering Services and Operations Leadership to ensure safe, reliable operations.
• Ensuring adherence to planning, pre-job inspection, and scheduling processes.
• Developing and implementing scheduling strategies for centers within Utility Operations.
• Leading continuous improvement via Work Management MDT systems.
• Coordinating work requests with customers, contractors, and internal teams.

Education
