Position Description:

The Work-Fit Fitness & Wellness Specialist supports current Work-Fit customers by collaborating on planning, organizing, communicating, developing, delivering, and measuring services. They contribute to improving Work-Fit's quality and compliance to support growth and excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

Health & Fitness Delivery

1. Oversee employee usage of fitness facilities, ensuring proper orientation, safety, and etiquette.
2. Assist with program design based on individual goals and capabilities.
3. Oversee group exercise instruction, monitor instructor preparation, and facilitate class success.
4. Maintain equipment, schedule maintenance, and report needs.
5. Conduct regular safety inspections and manage supplies.
6. Prepare for emergencies with first-aid and AED checks, drills, and posted instructions.

Wellness Delivery

1. Establish relationships with key stakeholders and promote Well Being programs.
2. Organize on-site events, campaigns, and support related programs.
3. Report on program metrics, risks, participation, and survey data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Fitness, or Health/Wellness from an accredited institution.
• Professional certification in the relevant health field.
• CPR/AED certification.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a health-related field.
• Experience with fitness services, programming, and wellness campaigns.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic recordkeeping systems.
• Comfortable working in diverse environments including manufacturing, warehousing, and outdoors.
• Flexible schedule to meet team and customer needs.
