Job summary

OutsideAgents.com seeks an experienced WordPress designer to blend site design with training and mentoring. You will build and improve WordPress sites and work directly with members to help them understand how their sites function and how to make them more effective.

This hybrid role is based in Jacksonville, FL, with periodic in-person meetings and trainings required. You will train users, explain design decisions, and guide improvements to ensure confident site management.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on WordPress experience with themes, builders and plugins.
• Strong design instincts for clean, effective layouts.
• Ability to explain design decisions to non-technical users.
• Comfortable mentoring and guiding others.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor non-technical users through Zoom sessions and in-person guidance.
• Help members understand website structure, layout decisions and best practices.
• Provide practical recommendations to improve site usability and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with internal teams on ongoing website and platform initiatives.
• Diagnose and resolve layout issues, plugin conflicts, and usability problems.
• Design, build, and improve WordPress websites using builders such as Elementor or Divi.
