Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience in WordPress development, including child theme customization.
• Comfort writing custom code to overcome builder limitations and extend WP capabilities.
• Ability to translate Figma designs into functional, high-fidelity websites.
• Write clean, well-documented, maintainable code following standards.
• Commitment to continuous learning in a fast-evolving field.

Responsibilities

• Implement clean, semantic CSS via child theme stylesheets with descriptive naming.
• Extend WordPress with custom PHP shortcodes and functions with proper documentation and security practices.
• Translate Figma designs into functional, responsive websites across breakpoints.
• Optimize sites for Core Web Vitals, minification, and efficient asset loading.
• Ensure all builds meet WCAG accessibility standards.
