Boldist is a design and development studio focused on building websites and ecommerce experiences for a diverse client base. You’ll own the design process from research to developer handoff, ensuring assets are ready for seamless implementation.
The role centers on responsive web design, with occasional UI work for web apps. You’ll work closely with a collaborative team to refine interactions, improve design systems, and deliver high-quality, developer-ready designs.
We're looking for a Digital Designer who takes ownership of design problems, not just design tasks. You'll drive the design process from research to developer handoff, working closely with our team to understand what the client needs, land on the right approach, and deliver work that developers can build from without guessing.
The majority of your work will be designing responsive websites and eCommerce experiences for our agency clients, but you'll also take on UI design for web applications when those projects come through.
You need to understand how the web works. What's possible in code, how responsive layouts behave, and how to design for real-world constraints. You won't be writing code, but you'll be handing off to developers who do, and the quality of that handoff matters.
Your typical week includes designing responsive page layouts in Figma, creating wireframes, building and maintaining component libraries, preparing detailed design specs for developer handoff, and collaborating with the team to solve design problems. You'll work across multiple client projects simultaneously at agency pace.
Boldist is a design and development studio founded in 2008. We've built hundreds of websites and eCommerce stores, launched brands from the ground up, and defined content strategies for multi-billion dollar companies. We do custom work and we care about getting better at it.
What is changing is everything else. AI is reshaping how design and development work, and we want to be at the front of that wave, not reacting to it. We're looking for people who are curious about that shift and want to figure it out together.
We want people who are invested in the work. Not just completing tasks, but thinking about how to do them better.
