Job summary

Watkins Wellness in Minnesota is seeking an Associate, Woodwork to manufacture quality products from drawings and orders using the full range of woodworking tools and equipment. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety and teamwork in a fast-paced production environment.

You will work from detailed drawings, select materials, and contribute to the quality control program while adhering to safety guidelines and ensuring timely attendance in a facility that handles wood dust and heavy lifting.

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED.
• 1 year in a woodworking or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to lift 75 – 100 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture a quality product from drawings and manufacturing orders using proper materials.
• Set-up and operate wood sawing machines; drill presses, routers, sanders, planers and wood-nailing machines.
• Follow safety rules and procedures; report unsafe acts and accidents.
• Maintain good housekeeping and attendance; lift 30-50 lbs. frequently and 70-100 lbs. occasionally.
