Job summary

Marketing Alliance Group in the United States is seeking a Woodshop Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain woodworking equipment used in producing wood components and custom wood products. You will read work orders and drawings, adjust machines, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

This role requires at least two years of hands-on experience with woodworking machinery in manufacturing, familiarity with cabinetry or millwork is a plus, and the ability to read tape measures

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience operating woodworking machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in cabinetry, millwork, retail fixture manufacturing, furniture production, or architectural woodworking is a plus.
• Understanding of woodworking materials, including hardwoods, plywood, MDF, particleboard, and laminates.
• Ability to read tape measures, calipers, and shop drawings accurately.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of machine setup, tooling, and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate woodworking equipment listed above.
• Read and interpret work orders, drawings, blueprints, and production schedules.
• Verify material specifications and dimensions prior to processing.
• Measure and inspect parts to ensure quality and tolerance compliance.
• Adjust machine settings and tooling to meet specifications.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report issues promptly.
• Maintain production efficiency while minimizing material waste.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Assist with material handling, staging, and movement of finished products.
• Keep work area clean and organized per company standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors, team members, and quality personnel to meet production goals.
