Job summary

Talon Technical Services seeks a Woodworker to pack, crate, and fabricate wooden items per work orders supporting packing and shipping operations at a US Army setting.

Responsibilities include operating woodworking machinery, creating crates and boxes, inspecting materials, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Candidates should have 1–2 years of related experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift heavy loads in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED, with math and measurement skills.
• 1–2 years related experience in wood fabrication or carpentry.
• Ability to read manuals and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 130 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Design, manufacture, and test wood goods.
• Set up, run, and maintain wood nailing devices.
• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools.
• Prepare crates/boxes for military shipping.
• Work in a high-volume military training environment.
• Ensure material is clean prior to acceptance.
