Menchey Music’s Menchey School of Music in Gambrills, MD, seeks an enthusiastic woodwinds instructor to join our private lessons program. Teach engaging, personalized sessions to students of all ages, build relationships, and contribute to a supportive studio environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years college-level music training or equivalent experience in teaching or performance
• Bachelor’s degree in music education, performance, or related field preferred
• Background check required with periodic checks every 3 years

Responsibilities

• Teach private woodwinds lessons to students of varying ages and abilities
• Create a positive, engaging learning environment
• Prepare students for recitals and performances
• Maintain accurate attendance and lesson records in the scheduling system
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, and staff
