Job summary

Qualifications

• A strong musical background with at least 2 years of college-level music training or 5 years of teaching or professional performance experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Bachelor’s degree in music education, performance, or a related field is preferred; candidates currently working toward a degree are encouraged to apply.
• Experience working with a variety of learners of all ages and skill levels is preferred.
• Ability to successfully complete an initial background check, as well as recurring background checks every three years as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging, personalized, and effective private lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Create a positive, encouraging, and educational lesson environment.
• Help students grow musically, prepare for recitals, and participate in performance opportunities.
• Communicate timely and professionally with students, parents, and staff.
• Keep accurate attendance and lesson records using our digital scheduling system.
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and enthusiasm every day.

Education
