Qualifications

• At least 2 years of college-level music training, 5 years of teaching or professional performance experience, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in music education or related field preferred; candidates working toward a degree encouraged to apply.
• Experience with learners of all ages and ability levels preferred.
• Ability to complete background checks (initial and every 3 years).

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging, private brass lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Create a positive, educational lesson environment.
• Prepare students for recitals and performances.
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, and staff.
• Maintain accurate attendance and lesson records using the scheduling system.
