Job summary

The Menchey School of Music in Gambrills, MD is seeking a dedicated brass instructor to join our private lesson program. You’ll teach engaging, personalized lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels in a supportive studio environment.

We offer strong administrative support, ongoing recital opportunities, and a collaborative music community. You’ll track attendance, manage records, and help students grow musically and confidently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of college-level music training or 5 years of teaching/pro performance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in music education or related field preferred.
• Experience with learners of all ages and skill levels preferred.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach private brass lessons to students of varying ages and abilities.
• Create a positive, educational lesson environment.
• Prepare students for recitals and performances.
• Maintain attendance and lesson records using our scheduling system.
