Job summary

Talent Masters Staffing is seeking a Woodworking Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will set up, operate, and monitor woodworking machinery to ensure products meet quality and production standards.

You will receive daily assignments from supervisors, gather tools, inspect products, and document production and timekeeping. The role includes basic maintenance, maintaining a clean 5S workspace, and assisting with training. A minimum of 1 year in related work is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of woodworking machine operation, setup, or programming experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude and safety in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor woodworking machinery to meet quality and production standards.
• Inspect products throughout production and complete production/timekeeping documentation.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and keep a clean, organized work area per 5S standards.
• Assist in training new operators and support team members as needed.

Woodworking Machine Operator

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Woodworking Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring woodworking machinery to ensure products consistently meet quality and production standards.

Operators will receive daily job assignments and work instructions from supervisors or team leads, gather necessary tools and materials, and safely operate equipment such as Moulders, Tenoners, Woodeye machines, CNC machines, Profile Sanders, and Lathes. Employees are responsible for inspecting products throughout production, completing production and timekeeping documentation, and reporting equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.

Additional responsibilities include performing basic preventative maintenance, maintaining a clean and organized work area in compliance with 5S standards, assisting with training new operators, supporting team members, and helping in other departments as needed.

Qualified candidates should have at least 1 year of woodworking machine operation, machine setup, or programming experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
