Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Wooden Truss Builder for a Shelby, AL-based position. You will assemble large wooden trusses used in the building industry, using hand tools, hammers, and power tools.

You’ll work Monday through Saturday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment. Safety gear is required, and English and Spanish speakers are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Prior construction experience required.
• Steel toe boots are required.
• Fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment.
• English and Spanish speakers welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assemble building material components such as roof and floor trusses.
• Insert or position materials, clamp, splice, and fit parts by hand and with power tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize assembly processes.
• Follow safety regulations and wear PPE.
