Job summary

Pivotal Health Solutions in Watertown, SD is seeking a Wood Shop Operator (1st shift) to join our manufacturing team. You will operate hand tools, power tools, and CNC equipment to produce wood lockers and athletic training equipment, following work instructions and quality standards.

Hours are Monday–Thursday 6:30 am–5:00 pm and Friday 6:30 am–11:30 am. The role requires high school diploma, mechanical aptitude, ability to read blueprints, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Woodshop/wood fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Detail oriented, dependable, and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and CNC equipment to manufacture wood lockers, athletic training equipment, etc.
• Assemble wood components into finished products on time and within PHS quality standards
• Utilize work instructions to follow established assembly procedures
• Maintain clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms
• Utilize Kanban system to restock depleted parts and materials
• Build defect-free products that meet Quality Standards
• Build products within time standards
• Adhere to safety standards and requirements
• Performs other duties as assigned
