Job summary

Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking a Wood Shop Operator for 1st shift in Watertown, SD. The role involves assembling wood components into finished products, following blueprints, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

The position runs Monday–Thursday 6:30 am–5:00 pm and Friday 6:30 am–11:30 am, with responsibilities including tool operation, Kanban restocking, and documentation of production activities. Requires basic computer knowledge and mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous woodshop/wood fabrication experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Applicants must have a high level of mechanical aptitude.
• Applicants must have good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and CNC equipment to manufacture wood lockers, athletic training equipment, etc.
• Assemble wood components into finished products on time and within quality standards.
• Utilize work instructions to follow established assembly procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Utilize Kanban system to restock depleted parts and materials.
• Build defect-free products that meet quality standards.
• Build products within time standards.
• Adhere to safety standards and requirements.

Wood Shop Operator

Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking a 1st Shift Wood Shop Assembler to join our team in Watertown, SD. In this role, you will be responsible for producing finished products through various types of assembly and manufacturing.

The hours for the shift are Monday through Thursday 6:30 am - 5:00 pm and Friday 6:30 am - 11:30 am.

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and CNC equipment to manufacture wood lockers, athletic training equipment, etc.
• Assemble wood components into finished products on time and within PHS quality standards
• Utilize work instructions to follow established assembly procedures
• Maintain clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms
• Utilize Kanban system to restock depleted parts and materials
• Build defect-free products that meet Quality Standards
• Build products within time standards
• Adhere to safety standards and requirements
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications
