Job summary

Pivotal Health Solutions in Watertown, SD is seeking a 1st Shift Wood Shop Assembler to produce finished wood products by assembling components, operating CNC and hand tools, and following blueprints. The position emphasizes quality, safety, and teamwork within a manufacturing setting.

This role requires a HS diploma, potential woodshop experience, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Shift hours are Mon-Thu 6:30 am–5:00 pm and Fri 6:30 am–11:30 am, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• CNC machine experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet time standards for product builds.
• Adhere to safety standards and requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking a 1st Shift Wood Shop Assembler to join our team in Watertown, SD. In this role, you will be responsible for producing finished products through various types of assembly and manufacturing.

The hours for the shift are Monday through Thursday 6:30 am - 5:00 pm and Friday 6:30 am - 11:30 am.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and CNC equipment to manufacture wood lockers, athletic training equipment, etc.
• Assemble wood components into finished products on time and within PHS quality standards
• Utilize work instructions to follow established assembly procedures
• Maintain clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms
• Utilize Kanban system to restock depleted parts and materials
• Build defect-free products that meet Quality Standards
• Build products within time standards
• Adhere to safety standards and requirements
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous woodshop/wood fabrication experience strongly preferred
• Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings
• CNC machine experience
• Applicants must have a high level of mechanical aptitude
• Applicants must have good communication skills
• Applicants must have basic computer knowledge
• Applicants must be detail oriented, dependable, and work well in a team environment.
• Applicants must be able to bend, stoop, reach high and low, work at a constant pace, and lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Valid Driver's License
