Würth Baer Supply Company is seeking a Board Sales Support Specialist to assist the Outside Sales team with board products, quotes, and coordinating orders from Vernon Hills, IL. This onsite role supports Territory Managers and Customer Service, ensuring timely responses and accurate information.

The position emphasizes urgency, strong communication, and collaboration across Purchasing, Inventory, and Operations to maintain pricing accuracy and on‑time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of wood panel products, applications, specifications, and vendor processes.
• Experience in sales support, customer service, purchasing, or related wood products role.
• High sense of urgency with the ability to respond quickly and accurately to internal and external requests.
• Strong communication skills to relay information between multiple teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to Outside Sales requests about board products, pricing, availability, lead times, quotes, and special orders.
• Prepare and support price quotes for customers in coordination with Outside Sales and Customer Service.
• Assist Outside Sales with product information, order details, vendor updates, and follow‑up needed to support customer commitments.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Inventory, Sales Operations, Purchasing, and Warehouse to ensure accurate order processing and on-time deliveries.
• Assist with vendor ordering, including gathering order details, confirming availability, and lead times.
• Support special‑order activity by confirming specifications, pricing, vendor requirements, shipping details, and delivery timing.
• Help resolve internal questions quickly so the Outside Sales team remains focused on customers.
• Share market feedback, product trends, and inventory concerns with Sales and Purchasing leadership.
• Provide input on product mix, inventory levels, pricing considerations, and demand outlook.
• Maintain documentation to support clean handoffs between Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, Inventory, and Operations.
