Job summary

Tazza Kitchen in Midlothian, VA is seeking line cooks to join our kitchen team. We offer part-time and full-time roles with a starting hourly wage of $17-$22 and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, wood-fired cooking environment.

Responsibilities include learning recipes, maintaining quality and safety, cross-training across stations, and assisting with inventory, prep, and dishwashing. We offer benefits like PTO, health coverage, and a culture of respect.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience preferably in a high-volume restaurant.
• Safe, competent knife skills.
• Physically able to stand for the duration of shift and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Learning all recipes, sourcing and cooking techniques.
• Adhering to standards of quality, sanitation and safety protocols.
• Cross training in all stations - salad, sauté, plancha and wood oven.
• Assist with inventory management.
• Assist with prep and dishwashing when needed.
