You will focus on creating, developing, producing, and managing finishing materials and methods, collaborating with shop floor, management, quality, sales, and customer service. Qualifications

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Two or more years of relevant production wood finishing experience.
• Good color perception and ability to apply finishes accurately.

Responsibilities

• Advocate safe and environmentally friendly finishing methods.
• Create stained matches to samples as requested.
• Evaluate finishing materials upon receipt and before production.
• Inspect discrepant materials and provide corrective actions.
• Produce marketing-related samples and production control samples.
• Train staff in finishing methods and tool usage.
• Verify inventories of finish materials across departments.
