Job summary

MillerKnoll is seeking a Finishing Technician to apply stains, toners, and polyurethane coatings on manufactured products at our Hildebran, NC facility. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret manifests and routings to understand product specifications, materials, and required finishing processes.
• Apply stains, toners, and dyes using spray equipment, ensuring accurate color match to sample boards and consistent finish.
• Apply polyurethane coatings using spray guns, determining proper application rates to prevent defects and ensure coverage.
• Sand and tack components between coating applications to ensure surface preparation and finish quality.
• Inspect own work to identify finishing defects and perform necessary touch-ups to meet quality standards.
• Follow standardized finishing methods for consistency and repeatability.
