Job summary

MillerKnoll is seeking a finishing associate for our manufacturing floor in Hildebran, NC. You will apply stains, toners, and dyes using spray equipment to achieve color accuracy and a uniform finish, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will read manifests and routings, set up spray area, perform touch-ups, and collaborate with teammates to meet production goals. Prior finishing experience and a HS diploma are preferred; benefits start day one.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or equivalent work experience.
• Previous finishing experience is required.
• Ability to read shop orders and safety data sheets.

Responsibilities

• Read manifests and routings to understand product specs and finishing steps.
• Apply stains, toners, and dyes with spray equipment to match samples.
• Apply polyurethane coatings and determine proper application rates.
• Sand and tack components between coatings to ensure finish quality.
• Inspect own work and perform touch-ups to meet quality standards.
• Follow standardized finishing methods for consistency and repeatability.
