Job summary

KingRecruitingServices in Menasha, WI, is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer for a state-of-the-art facility that produces architectural wood doors. You will report to the Automation Engineering Manager and join a team focused on safety, growth, and operating excellence.

In this role you will solve on-floor manufacturing problems, lead process improvements, and sustain gains by working with Production, Continuous Improvement, Maintenance, and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in an assembly operation (wood products preferred).
• Strong hands-on problem-solving and ability to lead improvements.

Responsibilities

• Solve hands-on manufacturing problems to improve day-to-day performance.
• Collaborate with Production, Continuous Improvement, Maintenance, and Engineering.
• Develop and implement practical process improvements and sustain them.
• Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor and work with operators and supervisors.
• Escalation resource for problems requiring deeper analysis after initial response.
• Plan, design, develop and validate manufacturing processes and improvements.
• Improve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery.
• Develop and drive metrics with Production Teams.
