The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a state-of-the-art production facility that builds architectural wood doors. This hands-on role reports to the Automation Engineering Manager and focuses on improving day-to-day operations across production, maintenance, and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will implement practical process improvements, influence change, and drive sustained results on the manufacturing floor with strong communication across all staff levels.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering is required.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in an assembly operation, preferably wood products.
• Capable self-starter who can work independently and on a team.
• Experience in project management from start to finish is highly desirable.
• Capital project experience is helpful, with strong communication across levels.

Responsabilités

• Solve hands-on manufacturing problems to improve day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate with Production, Continuous Improvement, Maintenance and Engineering.
• Develop practical solutions and drive implementation with follow-up.
• Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor coordinating with operators and leadership.
• Plan, design, and validate manufacturing processes and improvements.
