Job summary

TransPak in Oregon is seeking an Assembler – Wood to build wood crates per blueprints using power tools and to follow production schedules. You will log job progress in the Ops Center and maintain safety standards throughout the shift.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate measurements, and adherence to procedures, with morning hours and a 5am start. Prior carpentry experience is preferred, and basic computer use is required.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in carpentry, construction and/or landscaping.
• Use of dimensional and electrical power tools and motorized equipment.
• Basic computer skills to use Ops Center to log in & out of jobs with employee ID number.

Responsibilities

• Builds various sized wood crates while safely using power tools.
• Use tape measure to ensure measurements match the cut sheet up to 1/8th inch.
• Follow safety and PPE requirements during assembly.
• Log in and out of jobs in the Ops Center to track progress.
• Efficiently perform work according to standard operating procedures.
