Job summary

TransPak is seeking an Assembler I - Wood to join our manufacturing team in Washington. You will build wooden crates per blueprints, operate power tools, and log production details into Ops Center. This role emphasizes safety, pace, and accuracy to meet customer specifications and on-time delivery.

The position involves reading cut sheets, using adhesives for foam, and following standard procedures. A background in carpentry with basic computer skills is preferred, with bilingual English/Spanish

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in carpentry, construction and/or landscaping.
• Basic computer skills to use Ops Center to log in & out of jobs with employee ID number.
• Willingness to use heat sealers, utility knives, machinery and varying textures of foam.

Responsibilities

• Build various sized wooden crates using blueprints and power tools.
• Log in and out of jobs in Ops Center to track progress and schedules.
• Follow safety rules and PPE requirements while assembling crates.
• Read, interpret, and document cut sheets and stenciling errors.
