Job summary

UVA Health in Charlottesville is seeking a Women’s Services Float Pool RN to provide expert nursing care across NICU, Labor & Delivery, and Mother Baby units. This fast-paced role supports staffing needs with collaboration across disciplines and a commitment to patient-centered outcomes.

The position requires NICU and Labor & Delivery experience, a BSN within 5 years, and Virginia RN licensure. Relocation may be available; the program supports career ladders in an academic health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 1 year of relevant nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care across NICU, Labor & Delivery, and Mother Baby units.
• Utilize NICU and Labor & Delivery experience to support various patient acuity.
• Adapt to unit workflows while maintaining safety and compassionate care.
• Collaborate with physicians, APRNs, lactation consultants, respiratory therapists, and staff.
