Job summary
The University of Virginia's UVA Health is seeking a Women's Services Float Pool RN to provide expert nursing care across NICU, Labor & Delivery, and Mother Baby units, supporting staffing and maintaining high clinical standards in a Magnet-recognized environment.
You will bring NICU and Labor & Delivery experience to confidently support a range of patient acuity, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and adapt to unit workflows while ensuring safe, compassionate care.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN required within 5 years.
- 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
- Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in Virginia; BLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care across NICU, Labor & Delivery, and Mother Baby units.
- Utilize NICU and Labor & Delivery experience to support a range of patient acuity.
- Adapt quickly to unit workflows while maintaining continuity, safety, and compassionate care.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, lactation consultants, respiratory therapists, and support staff.
- Serve as a trusted clinical resource within Women's Services.
