Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience coaching rowing at collegiate or professional level preferred.
  • Strong ability to observe, analyze, and communicate rowing technique.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a coaching launch during on-the-water practices.
  • Observe student-athletes and crews and provide timely technical feedback.
  • Identify and communicate technical corrections related to rowing mechanics, boat movement, rhythm, timing, and crew synchronization.
  • Promote a positive, demanding, and supportive training environment.
  • Support student-athlete safety during practices and other rowing activities.
  • Assist with preparation for daily practices and training sessions.
  • Support equipment preparation, organization, and logistics.
  • Assist with rowing equipment and coaching launch operations as assigned.
  • Organize and maintain practice video and other performance materials.
  • Assist with data entry, training records, and program documentation.
  • Assist the full-time coaching staff with other program-related duties as needed.
