Job summary

Phoenix House Florida seeks a Program Manager to oversee the Women’s Residential Unit (58 beds) and maintain a therapeutic residential program. You will supervise counselors, participate in policy development with the Clinical Director, and ensure quality, compliant documentation and treatment planning.

The role requires a Master’s degree, Florida clinical licensure, and at least five years in residential substance abuse treatment, plus two years of supervision. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Florida licensure in Counseling or Mental Health field (LMHC/LCSW) is required.
• Minimum five years of residential substance abuse treatment experience.
• Minimum two years of clinical supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise counseling staff at the Women’s Unit, including hiring and training.
• Develop and maintain clinical program policies in partnership with the Clinical Director.
• Ensure treatment plans are SMART and reflect client progress.
• Maintain client charts compliant with CARF and state standards using Welligent.
• Coordinate with licensing bodies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead weekly treatment planning and supervision meetings.
• Assist with billing and documentation accuracy with administrative staff.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Welligent within 30 days of employment.
