Job summary

Phoenix House Florida in Tampa seeks a Full-time Master Level Counselor to deliver individual, group, and family therapy for individuals with substance use and co-occurring disorders. You will perform screenings, coordinate care, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance with program policies.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in counseling or related field, has strong crisis intervention skills, excels in teamwork, and is proficient with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master’s degree in counseling or a related field.
• Experience in a Therapeutic Community setting preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform mental health screening and biopsychosocial assessments on potential admissions.
• Provide individual, group, family therapy, and other clinical services.
• Perform urine drug screening.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with program leadership and staff to ensure quality care.
• Represent Phoenix House in court, interagency meetings, and community affairs.
