Job summary

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA seeks a Registered Nurse for Postpartum with 7:00pm-7:00am shift. Requires 18 months RN experience; 2 years postpartum preferred. BSN/MSN preferred; Virginia license or compact. BLS due within 90 days; ACLS/PALS/ENPC within 1 year; NRP within 6 months.

Qualifications

• BSN or MSN preferred.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire; Emergency Care – ACLS & PALS or ENPC within 1 year of hire.
• NRP within 6 months of hire.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process.
• Meet standards of practice and professional performance.
• Ensure patient education, safety and coordination of care.
