Job summary

The Women’s Empowerment Program Coordinator at St. Vincent de Paul – Cincinnati oversees the Becky Catino Women’s Stability, Employment, and Empowerment Program. You will coach, mentor, and develop participants, while ensuring program delivery, accountability, and outcomes.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate's degree in social work, education, or a related field, or two years of equivalent experience are required
• Experience as a social services case manager is required
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively relate to people of different cultural and economic backgrounds
• Ability to communicate well orally and in writing
• Ability to present program progress, participant updates, and areas for improvement to management and the program donor.
• Proficiency in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
• Some evening and Saturday availability (to be balanced by time off during the week)
• Experience accessing community resources and advocating within health, housing, social services, and other support systems

Responsibilities

• Case Management: Managing a caseload of up to twenty participants facing barriers to employment and mobility
• Mentoring and career counseling with program participants
• Weekly one-on-one and monthly group meetings to develop service plans and support progress
• Select women who will be a good fit for the program in collaboration with the manager
• Collect, record, and report data to evaluate services provided
• Extension of Support Services: Follow policy when providing monetary assistance on behalf of participants
• Coordinate access to SVDP programs for basic needs assistance
• Collaborate with community partners to provide resources and support
• Assist the program manager in planning and executing monthly workshops
