Job summary

St. Vincent de Paul - Cincinnati (SVDP) seeks an Education & Formation Coordinator to lead design and development of educational experiences rooted in Catholic Social Teaching and Vincentian spirituality.

You will work with the Director and Manager to inspire and evangelize through immersive programs for youth and adults. You will support volunteers, facilitate diverse workshops, and coordinate formation pathways in parishes, schools, and partner organizations, with occasional evening/weekend

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in theology, pastoral ministry, education, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Passion for and understanding of Catholic Social Teaching.
Two+ years' experience developing and leading faith formation events for diverse age groups.
Excellent facilitation and interpersonal abilities; connects with diverse audiences.
Strong time management and self-motivation.
Knowledge of adult learning processes and service-learning models preferred.
Excellent administrative abilities; proficient with Microsoft Office, Zoom/Teams, and Canva.
Safe Environment/Guarding compliance or readiness to achieve within 30 days.

Responsibilities

Coordinate development of curriculum, resources and materials rooted in Catholic Social Teaching and Vincentian Spirituality.
Regularly leads workshops, activities, simulations, and retreats for diverse partners.
Adapt programming based on participant feedback and best practices in formation.
Support training and development of volunteers and facilitators.
Coordinate staff initiatives such as Staff Lunch & Learns, Wellness and reflective experiences.
Assist with communication to Vincentians and partners about offerings and logistics.
Assist in safeguarding formational sessions and processing materials.
