Job summary

Skechers U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Women’s Product Developer to oversee end-to-end apparel developments for global Skechers products.

You will lead style discussions, coordinate with Design, Costing, Technical Design, Materials and Product Merchandising to ensure technical requirements, costing, and quality standards are met for production by PO issue date. You will manage timelines with Asia teams, maintain PLM data, review BOMs, and collaborate with internal teams to bring concepts through to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum 5+ Years experience in the Apparel Industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage factory development timelines with Asia Development Teams.
• Enter data into Flex PLM and Material Chart.
• Review material development submissions with internal teams and relay approvals/rejections.
• Review trim developments with internal teams and relay approvals/rejections.
• Create and maintain material palette in Flex PLM.
• Create and maintain seasonal binders with approvals for Trim, Fabric, AOP, and lab dips.
• Lead the sample team in filing seasonal trims, fabrics, and bulk.
• Coordinate with external and internal cross functional teams involved in product creation.
• Order raw materials directly for prototypes and samples.
• Develop each category from concept through to finished product with designers.
• Review BOM at each development stage to ensure codes and vendor alignment.
• Review color BOM prior to SMS request and production to ensure colorways are accurate.
• Implement development critical path with manufacturers and deadlines.
• Build strong vendor relationships and assess strengths.
• Ensure timely calendar deliverables for Sampling, SMS, Production timing.
• Review weekly WOOS from Vendors.
• Participate and lead information sharing in all CFT meetings.
