Job summary

Skechers, the Comfort Technology Company, seeks a Women’s Product Developer to oversee end-to-end development of apparel categories, leading style discussions with cross-functional partners and ensuring timely production.

You will manage factory development timelines with Asia teams, enter data in Flex PLM, review materials and trims, and collaborate with Design, Costing, Technical Design, Materials, and Merchandising to meet technical and costing standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (required).
• Minimum 5+ years experience in the Apparel Industry.
• Strong understanding of Apparel Development lifecycle and end-to-end processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage factory development timelines with manager and Asia teams.
• Enter data into Flex PLM and Material Chart.
• Review material development submissions and approve/reject with teams.
• Review trim developments with internal teams and relay decisions.
• Create and maintain material palettes in Flex PLM.
• Lead sample filing for seasonal trims, fabrics, and bulk.
• Coordinate with designers to develop categories from concept to finished product.
• Review BOM at key development stages to ensure codes and linkages.
• Review color BOM before SMS and production.
• Implement critical development paths with manufacturers to meet deadlines.
• Build strong vendor relationships and monitor calendar deliverables.
• Participate in and lead information sharing in CFT meetings.
