Job summary

Skechers is seeking a Product and Material Manager to oversee end-to-end apparel development, coordinating with Design, Costing, Technical Design, Materials, and Product Merchandising teams. You will manage timelines, ensure data accuracy in PLM, and maintain material palettes and BOM integrity.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in apparel, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office and PLM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Minimum 5+ years experience in the Apparel Industry.
• Strong understanding of apparel development lifecycle, end-to-end.
• Ability to manage development timelines and vendor relationships.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage factory development timelines with manager and Asia Development Teams.
• Ensure data entry into Flex PLM and Material Chart.
• Review material and trim developments for accurate documentation.
• Create and maintain material palettes in Flex PLM.
• Lead sample filing for seasonal trims, fabrics, and bulk.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams throughout product creation.
• Order raw materials for prototypes and samples.
• Review BOM and color BOM for accuracy at development stages.
• Ensure deadlines and critical paths are met with manufacturers.
• Build strong vendor partnerships and supplier performance awareness.
• Oversee calendar deliverables for Sampling, SMS, and Production timing.
