Qualifications

About the Role:

The Wok Cook plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, authentic cuisine in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant environment. This position requires mastery of wok cooking techniques to prepare dishes quickly and accurately while maintaining exceptional taste and presentation standards. The Wok Cook is responsible for understanding and executing menu items precisely, ensuring consistency and customer satisfaction. This role demands the ability to think quickly on your feet to manage multiple orders simultaneously and make smart decisions under pressure. Ultimately, the Wok Cook contributes to an exceptional dining experience by combining culinary skill with efficient service and teamwork.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in wok cooking or similar culinary roles within a full-service restaurant.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed recipes accurately.
  • Physical capability to handle product weights up to 100 lbs safely.
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Formal culinary training or certification related to Asian cuisine or wok cooking.
  • Experience working in a service-laced, full-service restaurant setting.
