Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license current in state where you work
• BLS certification required
• WOCN certification within 2 years of hire
• Three to five years of direct care nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing process to assess and plan ostomy/wound care for patients.
• Assess care needs and implement interventions for skin breakdown and ostomies.
• Perform stomal marking preoperatively and provide teaching.
• Collaborate with medical team on pressure ulcer and complex wound care strategies.
• Follow up on patients referred to WOC services and evaluate interventions.
