CarolinaEast Health System in North Carolina is seeking a Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse (WOCN) to provide specialized nursing care, education, and consultation for patients with wounds, ostomy, continence, and related disorders across acute and rehabilitation settings.

The WOCN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based plans of care and may pursue the Certified Foot Care Nurse (CFCN) credential for foot and nail care services.

Qualifications

BSN from an accredited nursing program.
Current RN license in North Carolina.
Completion of an accredited WOCN education program.
Current WOCN board certification.
Current CFCN certification if functioning in that role.
Demonstrated competency in patient and staff education.
Ability to assess growth and development across the lifespan.
