Job summary

Crane is seeking a technically skilled Logistics Applications Support Specialist to serve as the primary support for Warehouse Management System (WMS) applications. You will diagnose issues, optimize workflows, and liaise with Operations to ensure system integrity and reliable performance.

You will analyze requirements, design fixes, and develop reports while participating in vendor-implemented enhancements. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 2 years related experience.
• Minimum 1 year industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical support for WMS applications.
• Act as expert on warehouse management system (WMS) logic and functionality.
• Ensure system integrity through setup and control processes.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize software applications.
• Interface with Operations to review issues and communicate requirements, providing analysis and recommendations.
• Coordinate with departments to resolve site technical issues affecting application use.
• Investigate and recommend new technologies and information systems where applicable.
• Work with system providers or other departments to obtain costs for system enhancements.
• Identify application improvement opportunities and design, test, and implement changes for service levels and cost reduction.
• Assist in developing standardized and ad hoc site, management, and customer reporting.
