Job summary

CJ Logistics America is seeking a Software Engineer to design and implement a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) solution in Des Plaines, IL. You will be a technical expert, delivering WMS capabilities, optimizing processes, and supporting the transition to enhanced systems.

You’ll collaborate with operations and project teams, write SQL procedures, and contribute to performance improvements while traveling ~10% to support deployments and training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading Blue Yonder WMS experience in implementations.
• 3+ years leading WMS implementations or related warehouse ops improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel ~10% of the time.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the project team's WMS subject matter expert aligning functionality with customer needs.
• Write and maintain stored procedures, triggers, functions, and scripts to support WMS and reporting.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and data logic meeting KPIs and SLAs.
• Configure systems and develop new features and workflows.
• Lead testing, debugging of MOCA/SQL code and Blue Yonder traces to ensure reliability.
• Create and maintain design documents; provide training to operations teams.
